Meet Juliana
I graduated December 2019 with my B.S. in Exercise Science - Human Performance at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. My career started out with the geriatric population after graduation. I have worked with numerous types of clients with disease, disability, and disorders. I have also worked at multiple gyms over the years as a personal trainer with all ages and types of individuals.
I am a certified Exercise Physiologist. This certification allows me to work with any special population and furthers my understanding in physiology, muscle composition, and the bioenergetics of exercise.
My mission is to help you form a positive association with exercise, create healthy habits, understand goal setting, and prove to yourself that you are so much more than your body.
My Athletic Career
I have played sports my entire life. I played soccer for 17 years of my life, and 4.5 of those years were played collegiately at Southern Connecticut State University at the D2 level. I learned more about strength & conditioning, aerobic training, and mental strength during my time playing in college. I have carried that dedication and work ethic with me as I have taught others there's always room to dig a little deeper and push for that extra 1%. Throughout my college years I spent my free time coaching and mentoring younger players. I will always have a passion and a place in my heart for the game that impacted my life in such a positive way.
